June performances at the Monmouth County Library
Rock out in June at the Monmouth County Library! Featured concerts in June include our CeleBritain tribute to The Rolling Stones with renowned Glimmer Twins tribute band at Library Headquarters in Manalapan, and a concert spotlighting two local bands at the Eastern Branch in Shrewsbury.
You’ll also find more classical fare, from songfests to a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Here’s the lineup for June:

Nancy Scharff is a gifted and accomplished singer, guitarist, and pianist. Nancy will perform a potpourri of show tunes, opera, and popular songs.
The Glimmer Twins: A Rolling Stones Tribute Band

In 1962, the Rolling Stones made their debut at London's Marquee Club, opening for Long John Baldry British Blues legend. You will be amazed at the way The Glimmer Twins are able to recreate the look and feel for The Stones during the period from the late 60's with "Beggar's Banquet" through the release of "Exile on Main Street" and beyond.

New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus

Steven A. Russell directs the New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus, dedicated to fine choral singing since 1991, for an hour-long concert. Through song, the chorus shares pride in themselves and their community.

Other than being in his new, upcoming band This Time Counts, Morgan, of Oakhurst, loves to cover some of radio’s biggest hits as well as making his own.
