Adelphia Rd. Reopens After Tuesday Crash

No injuries reported from accident

Adelphia Rd. was closed for most of Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday morning following a crash near the Adelphia Fire Company

Sgt. Joseph Markulic of the Howell Police Department said at approximately 2:07 p.m. on Tuesday 59-year-old Veronica Segars of Brick was driving east on Adelphia Rd. when her car went off the road and hit a utility pole. Her car then continued to hit another pole which in turn knocked over a third pole according to Markulic.

Segars fortunately suffered only minor injuries and refused medical treatment. No summonses have been issued as a result of the crash which is being investigated by Cpl. William Bommer Sr.

By 7 a.m. on Wednesday the road had been reopened.
