Auto Accident Leads to Delays

An early morning accident on Squankum Yellowbrook Road has led to a portion of Rt 524A Southbound being shut down

This morning, an auto accident was reported by the Howell Township Police Department with a car hitting a pole at 200 Squankum Yellowbrook Road. The vehicle was overturned into a wooded area and the pole was snapped.

Due to the accident, Rt 524A Southbound (Squankum Yellowbrook Rd) will be closed from Preventorium Rd to Rt 547 intermittently. Rt 524A Northbound will remain open.

Police are advising drivers to use alternate roadways to avoid delays. This story will be updated with more information when it becomes available.
