Driver Stable After Tuesday Crash
Police looking for information from witnesses
A Lakewood resident is listed in stable condition after a one-car crash on Maxim Southard Road Tuesday caused considerable damage to his vehicle.
According to Sgt. Joseph Markulic of the Howell Police Department, 22-year-old Paris Wright was driving east on Maxim Southard Road near Maxim Road when he drove off the road and struck several trees.
Wright's car finally came to a stop near the railroad tracks. He was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by the Howell Police EMS and paramedics from MONOC. As of Tuesday afternoon he was listed in stable condition according to Markulic.
The crash is being investigated by Markulic and Ptl. Scott Brooks of the department's traffic safety unit. Anyone with information about the crash is encouraged to call the department at 732-938-4111.
