High Wind Warning Issued for Howell

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the area.

 

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Howell and the surrounding area tonight into tomorrow morning. 

Winds between 20 and 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 60 are expected Wednesday evening. The NWS predicts that the gusts may bring down trees, impacting power lines. The warning is in effect from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday.

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday before 10 p.m. and showers throughout the evening with a low aroudn 48 degrees. Thursday is expected to be partly sunny with the temperature dropping to about 39 degrees by 5 p.m. Overnight, there will be a low of about 29 degrees.
