The Howell Township Municipal Building, located at 4567 Route 9 has consolidated many township services that were at one time in different buildings into one location.

A local State of Emergency was declared in Howell Township on Monday morning.
An email from Township Manager Helene Schlegel said the status change does not include a travel ban at this time, "However, we strongly urge that residents stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary."
The Emergency Operations Center remains active and Schlegel said it will remain that way until conditions change. Residents with non-emergency storm related questions and issues should call 732-414-3239.
There are three reception centers in the township to take people to shelters if they are interested. They are the Southard Fire House at Route 9 and New Friendship Road, the Adelphia Fire Department Substation on Route 33 and the Ramtown Fire Department on Ramtown-Greenville Road.

Hi Ray, When the story was posted at 11 there was no travel ban. It was only instituted at around 3. Newer stories have had it listed this one was just not updated.
