Jackson Police Arrest Howell Resident on Drug Charges

Charges include possession and distribution of narcotics

 

Marco Ayala, 19, of Howell was arrested by the Jackson Police Department and faces several charges following an investigation in the neighboring township. 

According to a press release posted on the department's Facebook page Ayala was arrested on Wednesday night in the parking lot of a shopping center on West Countyline Road. 

Following the investigation Ayala was charged with possession of heroin, possession of xanax, distribution of heroin, distribution of xanax, possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Ayala was also charged in connection  with a burglary and theft in Jackson on May, 19 of last year. 

Following his arrest Ayala was transferred to the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $50 thousand bail.
