Paul Maggio, Sr., of Howell Township, died on Monday, Sept. 24 at CentraState Medical Center. He was born in Bayonne, NJ and moved to Freehold Township in 1999. He was a Longshoreman/forklift operator for the DOD Army Military Ocean Terminal in Bayonne. Paul was a US Navy Veteran.

Maggio was predeceased by his brother Phillip Maggio. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marie M. Maggio; one son, Paul Maggio of Cocoa Beach, Florida; one daughter, Ellen Graber and her husband, Wayne of Freehold Township; one grandson, Scott Graber of Mississippi; one granddaughter, Alison Graber and her Fiancé, Thomas Neylan of Freehold; one sister, Ann Fico of Toms River, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, Sept. 27 at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
