I see early morning commuters running across route 9 against the light trying to make a bus. It is very dangerous to do that when cars are traveling at 50 MPH. Be more careful people. I hope this woman is ok.

My sincerest best wishes the injured woman. Route 9 is a very dangers road, particularly for those who walk, or simply need to cross the street on foot.

Why is Route 9 so dangerous? Have you conducted a study on accidents, and fatalities? If so can you share the info? Or are you just another ambulance chaser trying to sue a municipality for a big payday?

And since suing the state is nearly impossible, and since each municipality is responsible for crosswalks, traffic lights, fire and police-have you ever seen a State Trooper patrolling Route 9?- this person would sue the local town, as it is much easier.

I hope and pray that Nina is OK and my prays also go out to Luke and the Palumbo family. Luke is a good kid who comes from an amazing, strong, kind, loving family and I'm sure this was a horrible accident that no one expected or intended for.

We are praying here for all as well! I know Luke for many years and he is a wonderful responsible man and very upset to say the least. It was just that an "Accident". He was going to meet his father at a job to help him out and not in any kind of rush. The Township has to take some responsibility for all these pedestrians not having a Cross Walk! Too many people are Rushing to catch a Commuter Bus to NYC. Where ever there are Commuter Parking Lots they have to build Commuter Cross Walks.

There is a crosswalk, with pedestrian signals, from that parking lot at 9 and Ryan/Symmes. Not everyone making the right from Ryan to 9 North pays attention to the pedestrians (not saying that is what happened here, just personal experience).

The bus comes every 6-8 minutes in the AM. There's always another one. Let it go.

He roasted a doobie and then smushed a bus rat. It must have ruined his high and the poor lady (bus rat) that got smushed. I feel bad for both of them.
