Music Workshop, Rt 9N, Manalapan. Best going by a longshot.

Musicians Workshop in Manalapan is missing form the list, a place I would highly recommend for at least guitar students. Also missing is Music university.

Music University and Musicians Workshop is missing! What kind of poll is it when you leave off the two best schools in the area!

Music University in Freehold, New Jersey is more than amazing...We have had our children go there for years and they love it.... I would never dream of sending them anywhere else!!! The staff is very friendly and accomodating to all our needs. They also form and have" rock bands",out of regular students, that play in local venues.... its alot of fun and a wonderful place.... check them out and add them to the list!!!!

You are missing Freehold Music University on RT 9. They are the BEST Music School in Monmouth County. My kids have been going there since they were 6 y/o. They enjoy learning. Jeanette

What about Music University, in Freehold? They are far better than the rest!!

Either do a poll the right way or don't do it at all. Your "nomination period" is obviously flawed if you did not get Music University nominated based on all the feedback you are getting now. Don't you think?

Music University gets my vote even though they did not make the nomination list! Paul and his staff do a great job with all the kids from beginners to advanced!
It is by far the best!!!

Music University has my vote! Music U's conscientious hard-working teachers bring dedication, enthusiasm and their own unique style to their students! Paul Sallee is one of the hardest working people I know. He gives 110% and works long hours often without compensation. He loves working with the students, teaching them how to work to fulfill their dreams. At this point, it would clearly be a false statement to publish that any other music school other than Music University was VOTED the best in Monmouth County. Every election I've ever seen has a place for write in candidates!

Where is Music University on the list?? I'm writing in a vote for Music University. Best school around not only in Monmouth but Middlesex too!

Music University is clearly #1!!! The school and it's staff are committed to developing their students' understanding and appreciation of both instrumental and vocal music. They are also dedicated to teaching students to use their musical talents to help others through the support of numerous local charities. My daughter has been a student at Music University for many years and they are not only responsible for her development as a musician, but also as a person.

I have watched Music University from inception to the icon that it is today! Music Univ. has grown through the incredible dedication of its teachers, Paul Sallee (also a teacher), and their passion for music and their students. They are not just a music school, but a key business that contributes to the surrounding community by teaching their students about community service through music and donating their talents.

Music University gets my vote too!!!! I would never dream of sending my children anywhere else. If you are really trying to give our community accurate information about the best music school, why wouldn't you allow "write in" votes?? Why can only those on the list be considered? I can write in my vote for almost any other poll, but not this one. This poll is more accurately described as "the best music school on this list" rather than the best music school in western monmouth county.

I don't know how Music University isn't on the list. What a great school it is!! I think you should allow write ins. The government does :)

You're missing the best school in town. Cornerstone music school in millstone township. The teachers are great,patient,encouraging and the children excel but ultimately just love going there!!!!

We love Cornerstone Music in Millstone. We came out of Freehold and have been with Cornerstone going on three years now. The teachers are not only terrific and qualified teachers, but are inspiring young musicians to nurture their passions.

Cornerstone Music Studios in Millstone Township, NJ is a fantastic music studio with an amazing staff of talented instructors who teach a wide variety of instruments from piano, voice, guitar, drums, woodwind instruments, brass instuments, string instruments and more. The learning environment is nurturing, empowering and extremely positive.

My family and I love Cornerstone Music studios from private lessons, Rock Band and their summer music and theatre arts camp. Cornerstone rocks!

Music University in Freehold. Awesome people. They do an amazing job. I love how they take your people and form Rock Bands and nuture them. Paul Salee is amazing, talented & very dedicated. All my kids go there and so do all our friends kids.

My vote is for Cornerstone Music Studios in Millstone, NJ!
We are so fortunate to have this studio my children have been going there for 3 years. Such a dedicated staff and talented music teachers! There are also varied programs for all ages, including toddlers and children with special needs. They have a wonderful summer theatre camp, too!
All the teachers say that our children inspire them, but they are able to cultivate their talents to a head-spinning degree, it's astounding!

Please take some of the good suggestions here and revamp your "rules" for your polls.

Can't believe Music University was omitted from this poll! My daughter is currently taking piano & vocal lessons and is also in a rock band. Incredible teachers who truly care about their students. Several bands are formed by these talented young musicians and it's wonderful to see them grow and perform at various venues. These bands also hold charity concerts (Music from the Heart) and raise funds and awareness for several local charities. Great lessons are being taught ~both within the school and also within the community. Could not be any happier with Music University~ I vote for them 100%

Music University for sure. Great music programs, rock band programs. I love the place and the staff is really friendly and helpful. They will get you anything you need and every teacher there is friendly. I bet you'll like it. Stop in and feel the music.

Cornerstone Music Studio in Millstone gets my vote! The calibur of the instruction is fabulous. I love the periodic recitals throughout the year so I can see the progress for my child.

So great to see so much passion for music teachers and how they enrich the lives our children....and our lives too!! Obviously, there is alot of music being made!! Awesome!!!

So..where is Corner Stone Music on your list? If you want the BEST music studio around, add Corner Stone Music in Millstone, NJ. Several of my children went there for voice and piano and they all loved it.
