Slideshow: Howell Day A Chance For Community to Come Together
No rain at Oak Glen Park made for a fun day all around
On Saturday afternoon Oak Glen Park was the place to be as the annual Howell Day celebration went off without a hitch despite predictions of possible rainfall on the township.
Residents of all ages came out to the park to take part in the day with vendors selling everything from fried oreos to sparkling jewelry. There was also a wide variety of entertainment ranging from rides for the children to a performance by musician John Eddie.

IT WAS A GREAT DAY! WE HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME WITH OUR THERAPY DOGS. ODIE AND COCOA ARE PARTNERS AT MANY EVENTS THROUGHOUT MONMOUTH AND OCEAN COUNTIES. THEY ARE BOTH HOWELL RESIDENTS, AND ARE REGULARS AT GERALDINE THOMPSON'S CARE FACILITY. COCOA'S LITTLE SISTER KAYA WAS THERE TOO! THEY WERE SO HAPPY FOR THE INTEREST THEY STIRRED UP IN THE CROWD, AND WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO GIVE KISSES TO ANYONE THAT ASKED, AND ENJOYED ANSWERING ALL THE QUESTIONS.
