At Tuesday's meeting of the Howell Mayor and Council several groups of young residents were honored for their accomplishments during the recent football season.
The Howell Pop Warner Junior Pee Wee Large team won the 2012 Level 2 Cheer Team National Championship while the Howell Pop Warner Junior Midget Cheer Medium team took second place in the 2012 Level 2 Cheer Team National Championships.
The Howell Rebels Division 8 Cheer Team brought home the national title in the 2012 Division 8 Small American Youth Cheer Championships and the Howell Rebels Pee Wee Blue team won the 2012 American Youth Football pee Wee Division 2 National Championship.
