I can update the story since they, state police, were walking all over my yard!!! There was a first set with about 10 officers on each side of the road with older guys and younger guys, so I'm assuming these were captains, sgt, etc... Then another set of 10 on each side came up behind them with metal detectors and sticks. They had state employees with cone and bumper trucks to block herbertsville road going toward brick all the way to sally ike. The guys blocking the road showed up around lunchtime and the state police showed up at the herbertsville/547 corner about 30 mins to a hour later. Around 3:30pm the state guys blocking the road all hopped in the trucks in a hurry and all left together going toward sally ike, I saw a older gent talking on cell at that time so I think they must have found something. I have picts of the whole thing from my vantage point also!! Hope that helps a little for the curious!! Enjoy!!
