Trailer Park Fire Extinguished by Local Departments

Fire reported on Tuesday morning

A fire in the Angle Inn Trailer Park damaged two homes and a vehicle before it was put out by two local fire departments.

According to Detective Sgt. Eileen Dodd of the Howell Police Department the fire started at 3D Porter Blvd.  and extended to a neighbor's 1981 Jeep wrangler. When the jeep caught on fire it also extended the flames to their home at 3A Porter Blvd.

Dodd said the Adelphia Fire Company as well as the Naval Weapons Station Earle Fire Company responded to the fire. The Monmouth County Fire Marshall's Office and Det. Rob Ortenzi of the Howell Police Department are handling the investigation.
