Freehold Regional High School District BOE Election
I am running for the Howell Township seat on FRHSD Board of Education election on November 6th as a WRITE IN candidate. As a life long resident of Howell, I too have strong convictions to deliver a high level of education to our students while keeping our tax commitment for those services at a reasonable level.
Absurd salary hikes, while Howell employees and residents continue to tighten their belts, are without question a slap in the face to Howell residents and taxpayers. I am a former Board member of the Howell Township Board of Education and have a very clear picture of what is expected of a competent and responsible Board. I am presently on the Howell Township Planning Board and am active in the Howell Historical Society as Board member as well.
Make no mistake, I will fight for the taxpayer in Howell. I have no hidden agenda nor any hidden affiliation with the FTHSD BOE. I run for this seat by myself, and more importantly I think for myself! Every vote will be made with the information I have and not by being swayed by any faction. Why just NOW is she putting this up? If she was so interested in the position why didn't she file a petition like she should have?

Hello Tom-At the time the petitions were to be filed I was under the impression a very competent candidate did in fact file. It only came to my attention a couple weeks ago that Howell DID NOT have anyone file for the vacancy. I believe that Howell needs and deserves the proper representation for the FRHSD and so I chose to become a write in candidate for that position. Although I just posted my intentions, my commitment to students and taxpayers has been long standing. I thank you for your candid question as it gave me the opportunity to address your concerns.
