Freehold, NJ, October 8, 2012 – The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is pleased to announce a two-part program with lecture and concert by Dr. David Brahinsky, Instructor of Philosophy and Comparative Religion at Bucks County Community College in Newton, Pennsylvania on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 1:00 pm. In Part 1, he will speak on the complex and often difficult history of the three Abrahamic faiths’ co-existence, and his vision for their future in “Holy War & Peace in Islam, Judaism & Christianity”. In Part 2, he and the Roosevelt String Band will present “Israeli and Middle Eastern Songs and Stories" concert at 2:30 pm. Admission is $12 members, $15 non-members for both events.
The Jewish Heritage Museum is located at 310 Mounts Corner Drive, near the intersection of Route 537 and Wemrock Road, in Freehold. Will the Dr. go over how that two religions, that still believe in conquest, murder and war if you aren't from their religions, are fighting because they are exactly the same misguided old testament portions they put first? Will he go over how it would seem these religions, all of them, have been hijacked by people desiring to conquer their fellow man? just curious. shalom
