“Spring Fix” Benefit Concert at Six Flags Great Adventure to feature Ne-Yo and Jersey Shore Cast

Six Flags Great Adventure opens for its 40th season March 23 at 10:30 a.m.  The cast of "Jersey Shore" including Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Deena Nicole Cortese will reunite at the Jackson theme park as part of “Spring Fix,” an alternative spring break event sponsored by MTV, mtvU and United Way to help rebuild communities devastated by Hurricane Sandy.

Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning Motown Records artist Ne-Yo will headline the show, with additional performances by Sammy Adams and Timeflies.   “World of Jenks” star Andrew Jenks will also attend for a day of roller coasters, games and giving back.

The concert will begin at 3 p.m. and is free with park admission to all Six Flags guests.  A portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to United Way.

Why are the proceeds going to United Way??? I will not give to that organization because the money does not go to the victims that need it! Why not give the money to one of the other funds we have at the Shore to help the Sandy victims????

This simply is not true. I happen to know for a fact that United Way has been giving aid to victims of Sandy since the storm, as well as to local agencies that needed funds to be up and running after the damage they sustained. You should check your facts before making statements like this.

Do not give a dime to the United Way.....give to local charities!

Though not in favor of drones---if you have the cast of J Shore and their fans all in the same spot---well, i can be open-minded to an occasional hellfire missile.

FIRST CHECK OUT WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THE FUNDS COLLECTED BY UNITED WAY WILL DONATED AFTER THEIR PERCENTAGE IS TAKEN OUT. I'LL BE SURPRISED IF IT COMES CLOSE TO 50%

Does anyone find it odd that the United Way funds Lesbian, Gay and Transgender organizations but refuses to fund the Boy Scouts?
