Celebrating Rosh Hashanah in Howell

When the sun set on Wednesday night the Jewish high holiday of Rosh Hashanah began welcoming the year 5774.

In Howell one place to celebrate the new year is Congregation Ahavat Olam with services set for 9 a.m. on Thursday morning. The Tashlich ceremony is also scheduled for 5 p.m. at South Lake in Lakewood. The local congregation will also meet on Friday at 9 a.m. for the second day of the holiday.

St. Veronica’s will be hosting a Men’s Eucharistic Adoration tonight for members of the Catholic community. Men from around the area are invited to the church between 9 and 10 p.m.
