Council Resumes Search for Township Manager Wednesday

Now that Election Day is behind them the Howell Township Council can turn its attention forward to 2014.

That process resumes tonight with another meeting as the search for a new township manager continues. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and will largely be done in executive session but there will be a chance at the start for members of the public to comment on the process. The council will then meet again on Thursday morning for a special budget presentation for the upcoming year.

The National Weather Service is predicting a relatively warm and partly sunny day with a high near 61 during the day. There is at least a 30 percent chance of showers tonight when the temperature is expected to drop to around 53 degrees. The rain is expected to start after 2 a.m. and run through the day on Thursday.
