The schedule around town is quiet today but Howell will be busy tomorrow with a grand opening of a new business and a big band concert at a local church.
New Movement Dance Center will be celebrating its grand opening on Saturday from noon until 4:30 p.m. The day will include free dance classes, face painting, music and more. The festivities are being held at the new location at 4782 Route 9 South. For more information check out the school’s website.
When the dance lessons are done you can put your newly learned skills to the test at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church when the Nocturnes Big Band takes the stage. The event starts at 7 p.m. and will include music and light refreshments for a $10 suggested donation.
The National Weather Service is predicting a beautiful and slightly warm day on Friday following Thursday’s rain. The high temperature is expected to be around 85 degrees before dropping to around 61 at night. Saturday also looks good for a day outside with a high near 80 and a low of 58 after sunset. The weekend rounds out with a high of 80 on Sunday before a low of 60 on Sunday night.
