Have Fun Before Giving Thanks

A look at events happening in Howell on Wednesday November 27, 2013.

The night before Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the most popular nights of the year to go out and have fun before diving into an evening of family bonding.

In our local area there are plenty of places to go for a good time including Woody’s Roadside Tavern which will be hosting a special event with live music. For people wanting to stay out late Woody’s plans to be open until 3 a.m. leaving plenty of time to come home and wake up to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

One thing we likely will not see in our area today is the sun. The National Weather Service is calling for a rainy day with a high around 59 but dropping to around 49 by 5 p.m. The dramatic temperature drop, continuing to around 29 tonight could mean a chance of minimal snow falling. Total rainfall could reach more than one inch before the day is done.
