Help Others Through Howell Patch

During the holiday season there are plenty of ways to give back and help others in need. At Howell Patch we want to do our part to help connect people who can help with the people who need help.

One of our newest ways is our Giving Back in Howell and Farmingdale Blog. This is where your group can post your events, things you’re collecting and where you’ll be distributing them. The Howell United Soccer Club has already posted information on a food drive and with a little more than a month until New Years Day there is still time to share your information.

As the holiday gets closer the weather will get wetter according to the National Weather Service. The high for today is expected to be around 47 degrees with an 80 percent chance of rain with the showers likely arriving after 3 p.m. Rain is expected to run right through tonight and be heavy at times but warm temperatures will prevent the precipitation from freezing. There could be as much as two inches of rain by the end of Tuesday night with more expected on Wednesday.

Hopefully everyone enjoyed National Parfait Day on Monday but with Hanukkah starting on Wednesday night and Thanksgiving on Thursday today is also Shopping Reminder Day.
