Hot Temperatures Ahead of 9/11 Memorial Ceremony

A look at events happening around Howell on Wednesday September 11, 2013.

On what will be one of the hottest days in recent weeks the township of Howell will take time tonight to remember the tragedy of the 9/11 attacks 12 years ago.

The ceremony will be held at the old Town Hall at one of the township’s two memorials to the tragedy on Preventorium Road. “Howell Remembers is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service the high temperature for today is expected to be around 91 degrees during the day on a mostly sunny day. The low temperature tonight is expected to drop down to around 70 degrees with a 20 percent chance of showers. Any rain is expected to hold off until around 2 a.m.
