Howell Council Meeting Tuesday Night

The Howell Township Committee will be meeting tonight to start its work in October while also continuing the search for a new Township Manager.

On the agenda are a variety of items including public hearings on leasing the old revenue building to  the Howell PAL and the Howell Food Pantry. There is also an ordinance to be introduced that would sell property, including the old engineering building to Monmouth County as an addition to the Howell Park Golf Course and another tract of land for the Manasquan River Greenway.

Monday’s rain has passed and the National Weather Service is calling for plenty of sunshine through Wednesday. The high for today is expected to be around 68 with a light wind before dropping to a low of around 49 tonight.
