Live Music and Flapjacks This Weekend in Howell

A look at events happening in Howell on Friday October 18, 2013.

The weekend is kicking off with a bang in Farmingdale tonight as Woody’s Roadside Tavern welcomes musical guest Far Cry to the popular establishment.

Live music is scheduled to start at around 9:30 on Friday night at a restaurant that has had every kind of music from country to Oompah music during Oktoberfest celebrations. More live music is set to take the stage on Saturday when Marty and the Martians will perform for people in attendance.

For people waking up on Saturday morning the Howell Memorial TSA will be holding a Flapjack Fundraiser starting at 8 a.m. at Applebee’s on Route 9. The Howell High School Marching Rebels are also scheduled to hold a garage sale on Standish Drive on Saturday and Sunday mornings

The National Weather Service is calling for a mostly clear weekend in our area with a high near 67 today and a low of close to 46 when the sun sets tonight. There is a 20 percent chance of showers tomorrow with a high near 67 and a 30 percent chance of showers tomorrow night with a low of around 47.
