Old Tax Building Getting New Tenants at Council Meeting

The Howell Township Council is set to meet tonight at 7 p.m. and three of the items on the agenda figure to have a long lasting impact on the face of at least one road in the town.

At their last meeting the council introduced an ordinance to sell the building located at 450 Adelphia Road to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. There will be a public hearing and the the ordinance could be adopted at tonight’s meeting.

The council is set to introduce two ordinances tonight that would lease the former tax building across the street to the Howell Police Athletic League and the Howell Emergency Food Pantry.
