Planning Board to Hear First Financial Application Thursday

A look at events happening around Howell on Thursday October 3, 2013.

The Howell Planning Board is scheduled to meet tonight to discuss an application to bring a large investment into the township.

First Financial Federal Credit Union is applying to build a two-story building with drive thru lanes on Route 9 and two more two-story office buildings near the intersection of Route 9 North and Wyckoff Mills Road. The credit union already has a presence in the township with a branch in the Lanes Mill Shopping Center and others in neighboring Freehold and Wall but this would be a larger footprint in Howell.

The Howell Public Library is also hosting a program at the same time being called a PEAK Performance Workshop. The 60 minute event is being presented by Freehold chiropractor and nutritionist Peter Aloi and Courtney Flaherty will give tips to participants on how to fight exhaustion, aches and pains over the course of a long day.
