Salem Hill Road Planning Board Application Continues Thursday Night

A look at events happening in Howell on Thursday December 19, 2013.

The Howell Township Planning Board will have one final application to hear on Thursday night with the last regularly scheduled meeting of the year.

On the agenda is a continued application to build a pharmacy, convenience store and gas station and bank at the intersection of Route 9 and Salem Hill Road. This will be the third time the applicant, Landmark Howell LLC, comes before the board seeking approval on a conditional use and preliminary and final site plan.

Members of the board and the public who attend the meeting will need their full winter gear for the night even as the National Weather Service calls for a warm day on Thursday. The high for today is expected to be near 49 on a mostly sunny day before dropping down near 34 on a partly cloudy night.
