The main meeting room at the new Howell Municipal Building will be hosting a special event on Tuesday morning for people struggling through these tough economic times.
Geared toward homeowners looking for help with their mortgages and related issues the event starts at 11 a.m. and is scheduled to run for around an hour. Topics to be discussed include modification programs, the foreclosure process, how to avoid scams and what to expect after going through a foreclosure process. The event is free and open to the public.
A pediatric flu shot clinic is being held at the nearby Freehold Township Municipal Building from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday. The cost is just $20 and walk-ins are welcome. All Monmouth County residents are eligible for the shots at the Freehold location.
