As long as there is no rain there will be a Trunk or Treat fundraiser from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Chick-Fil-A parking lot with free candy for all kids in costume. People who buy dinner at the restaurant will also have 10 percent of their purchase go to the PAL.
Whether it rains or not the Howell Public Library will be showing the Tom Cruise movie Oblivion at 1 p.m. It is the last afternoon movie in October for the library but there is another slate of films to come in November.
The National Weather Service is leaving a lot of uncertainty in the forecast for today with a 20 percent chance of showers mostly after 1 p.m. but a high temperature of 67 degrees expected during the day. The chance of showers increases to 40 percent especially after 4 a.m. through Thursday night into Friday and a still unseasonably warm low of 62 for our area.
