The two bodies have held joint meetings in the past and will discuss resuming that work this year. Most of the rest of the agenda involves assigning teachers to fill vacancies across the district.
Woody’s Roadside Tavern will be hosting a fundraiser for Jimmy Reilly’s family starting at 5 p.m. The local resident has been battling Multiple Myeloma and the proceeds raised from the night will help to defray costs associated with the illness.
The National Weather Service is predicting a nice night overall with just a slight chance of showers over the next few days. A high of 88 on a sunny day will make way for a low of 68 tonight with just a 20 percent chance of showers.
Today is also National Senior Citizen’s Day, so if you have an older neighbor or relative be sure to be extra nice to them on their special day.
