Affiliated Foot & Ankle Center, LLP in Howell Hosting Its 1st Annual Halloween Candy Exchange for Children with Diabetes

Affiliated Foot & Ankle Center, LLP located in Howell, NJ has announced its 1st annual “Halloween Candy Exchange for Children with Diabetes” to take place on Friday, November 1st from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.  All youngsters with diabetes are invited along with their families to attend a night of fun and enjoyment, and are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to celebrate.  The evening will include games, prizes and entertainment along with dinner donated by Sporaco’s Italian Market and Catering.  Children in attendance are asked to bring the candy they’ve collected from trick-or-treating or any other activity and in exchange, they will receive sugar-free candy and other treats.  The sugary treats in turn will be donated to the Howell Food Pantry for distribution.  Dr. Hal Ornstein states, “This event is powerful because not only does it support children with diabetes in a fun, warm environment, but simultaneously gives to the Howell Food Pantry to help those in need.  This is year one for this event and we plan to do it for many years to come.”  Reservations for the Halloween Candy Exchange are required and can be made by calling (732) 905-1110 or by email at wecare@footdoctorsnj.com.  Please confirm your attendance along with the child’s or children’s name(s) and age(s), and total number of people attending.  The event will be taking place on Friday, November 1st from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Affiliated Foot & Ankle Center, LLP located at 4645 Route 9 North in Howell, NJ.
