HOW TO CAST A WRITE-IN VOTE
YOU CAN PRINT THIS OFF AND BRING IT TO THE POLLS
1. Press the square in the write-in box located at the right side of the “For Councilmembers-at-large” row labeled ‘NO PETITION FILED’.
2. A blinking ‘X’ will appear next to the write-in square. Use the keyboard to type the full name of the candidate you want to vote for, one letter at a time.
We are asking you to write in three names for Howell Council:
(1) - STEVEN MORLINO
(2)- COCHISE DOUCETTE
(3)- JAMES MORAN
MAKE SURE THE SPELLING OF EACH NAME IS CORRECT!!!!!
To make a space between the first and last name: Use the arrow pointing to the right on the keyboard.
To make a correction: Use the arrow pointing to the left.
The name of each candidate will appear in the display to the left of the keyboard.
3. When you have entered the whole names of all THREE CANDIDATES , press the GREEN ENTER BUTTON on the keyboard, and the vote is cast. The X will stop blinking and remain solidly lit next to the write-in position.
4. Press the red ‘CAST VOTE’ button when you are finished.
