Evelina Padilla, Esq. Appointed to Statewide Advocacy Board

Hinkle, Fingles & Prior, Attorneys at Law, is proud to announce that associate Evelina Padilla, Esq. has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of Advocates for Children of New Jersey (ACNJ). The state’s leading child welfare organization, ACNJ educates the public and policymakers on matters of early childhood education, child health, child protection, juvenile justice and children’s legal rights.   Padilla, a resident of Jackson, brings her experience in special education, children’s issues, public entitlements, and a broad range of administrative issues.   “I am proud to be able to give back to the community and do more to help vulnerable children and teens,” said Padilla. “ACNJ does such important work and I am excited to be part of it.”   Prior to joining Hinkle, Fingles & Prior, Padilla served as a law clerk for the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law. While in law school, she served as a clinical law student at the Rutgers Newark Special Education Clinic. As a Governor’s Executive Fellow at the Eagleton Institute of Politics, she worked at the New Jersey Department of Education, Legislative Services, reviewing and monitoring legislation. Padilla holds a JD from Rutgers School of Law-Newark, and is a member of the New Jersey, New York and Florida bars.  In addition to her work with ACNJ, she also serves on the Advisory Board of the Family Support Center of New Jersey.   Hinkle, Fingles & Prior, Attorneys at Law, is based in Lawrenceville, and has five other office locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
