Marine Science Camp Prepping for Summer!!

Voted “Best Camp” of 2012 and 2013, The Marine Science Camp is an unforgettable “hands on, feet wet” marine and environmental education based learning experience designed for children in grades K-8th. Campers experience what it is like to be a marine scientist out in the field, learning about and exploring the life found in and around our New Jersey coasts. Those inquisitive young minds will take part in many exciting activities including seining, sieving, kayaking, plant and animal identification, water quality sampling and testing, study of tides, marine ecology and environmental education, and a special segment on severe weather and coastal erosion with a focus on Super Storm Sandy. This thrilling new camp, started by Marine Biologist, Sherri Paris, is offered at 17 locations along the Jersey Shore, including Manasquan, Belmar, Lavallette, Brick, Beach Haven and Toms River at Shelter Cove. It’s one of the many perks of living at the Shore — with several waterfront locations around, you can choose the place that’s most convenient. We can guarantee that after experiencing a week of our camp, your child will be dreaming about those days of summer long after the summer is gone.
