WCEC to Provide Free Customer Service Training to All Small Businesses in Ocean County

The Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship Corporation (WCEC), continues its “We’re Storming Back” Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Program with a free customer service training workshop at One-Stop, located at 1027 Hooper Ave. in Building 6 in room 203, in Toms River from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2013.

 

Funded by a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the WCEC’s We’re Storming Back program has hosted numerous free two-hour customer service training session to a variety of businesses throughout New Jersey, which focuses on defining customer service and applying customer service skills to various workplace situations. The workshop will help small business owners and their employees who interact directly with the public on a daily basis to sharpen their skills and learn best practices, to ensure that visitors enjoy an outstanding experience and return often to the New Jersey shore.

“Almost a year after Hurricane Sandy tore our shore apart, local businesses are continuing to rebuild and recover from the storm,” said Penni Nafus, Executive Director of the WCEC. “We want small businesses to know that resources are available at no cost to them to help in their recovery and provide them with the tools for continued, long-term success.”

The WCEC is encouraging all business owners to take advantage of this unique program, by registering their employees to participate in the interactive customer service training session. The WCEC’s “We’re Storming Back” Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Program provides free workshops, training, and resources to New Jersey businesses affected by Hurricane Sandy to help them to recover and thrive in this all-important summer season.
