Cold Temperatures Make Tuesday Forecast Uncertain

A look at the forecast for the week ahead

If the National Weather Service is right the forecast for this week could see the first flakes of snow fall on our area in the next few days.

Temperatures at or below freezing at night could make for a shift from rain to snow for Monday night into Tuesday morning. The forecast calls for a day of increasing clouds today with a high near 54 before a 50 percent chance of showers is called for tonight.

Most of the rain is expected to start mostly after 1 a.m. and go until around 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning before clearing to a mostly sunny day with a high near 41. The rain in the early hours of Tuesday is our best chance to see snowfall but is only expected to be around a tenth of an inch of precipitation at the most.
