Today is National Pancake Day and during a week when cold temperatures and snow are in the forecast more often than sunny weather there may be no better way to start the day than a warm circular breakfast.
We asked you on Facebook where you go for pancakes in and around Howell and there were some good answers as well as some disappointement in the breakfast situation here in town.
In addition to the local restaurants IHOP is recognizing the day by giving away a short stack of pancakes in exchange for a donation to the Children's Miracle Network Hospital and other local charities.

The two closest locations are in Brick and Morganville but if you want to stay closer to home some of the favorite spots are Connie's in Farmingdale and the Colonial Coffee Shoppe here in Howell.
