Helicopter Landing Caps Camp Safety Day

As the State Police helicopter landed on the field at Howell Middle School South on Thursday campers at the school not only heard the roar of the engines roar but also saw the power of the propellers send blades of grass flying through the air.
The arrival of the special guests was the conclusion of safety day at the camp which helped introduce the children to some of the first responders in the area. Along with the flight drew's appearance members of the Ramtown Fire Department and the Howell Fire Bureau showed off their equipment as did representatives from the Point Pleasant Borough First Aid Squad.
