The Howell Municipal Alliance will be hosting a special event this weekend with the proceeds benefitting local families in need.
The Alliance's Skate Day will be held at Howell Ice World on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. The cost to attend is $12 per person, which includes skate rentals and refreshments.
Those in attendance will also have a chance to win tickets to a New Jersey Devils ice hockey game and other giveaways. Parking is available only in the arena's parking lot for the event.

The Howell Township Municipal Alliance works to help prevent the use and abuse of drugs, alcohol and tobacco particularly with by the township's youth. Money from Skate Day long with grants and other fundraisers helps to organize educational programs, extra-curricular activities as well as other programs in township schools and with other organizations.
