NJ Forest Fire Service to Control Burn Monmouth Battlefield

Large columns of smoke will be visible over the next two to three days.

The NJ Forest Fire Service will be conducting prescribed burning of the fields alongside of Route 33 and Route 522 at Monmouth Battlefield State Park this weekend, Patch has confirmed.

There will be large columns of smoke billowing from the area of the state park, please do not be alarmed or contact your local fire station. Please also use caution in the area when driving around the area of the state park.
