PAL Offering Full Slate of Activities for Summer

Sports and other camps available for residents of all ages

With the school year winding to a close the is gearing up for what figures to be a very busy summer. 

In addition to the summer camps being the PAL is also offering its own camps for everything from law enforcement to athletics to cooking. 

For those hoping to one day join the Rebel football team the PAL camp will run from July 9-13  for children ages 7-to-16-years-old. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and registration costs $50 which includes a t-shirt and lunch for campers. This year's camp is set to be held at . 

Cruz Farm on Old Tavern Rd. will host the PAL golf camp from July 23-27 which will be held from 6 p.m. to dusk and is open to players between 7 and 14. This camp also has a $50 registration fee and has a limited number of spots available. 

The next Landon Donovan or Christie Rampone can sharpen their skills on the football field at the PAL soccer camp from Aug. 6-10. The camp runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is held at on Adelphia-Farmingdale Rd. The cost for this camp is $95 or $115 for a ball and a t-shirt. 

Once again the PAL will work with the coaching staff of the Howell High School baseball team for the 2nd Annual Future Rebel Baseball Camp. The first session is June 25-29 and the second is from July 9-13. Campers should be between the ages of 7 and 14 and the camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The camp costs $145 for the first child and $125 for each additional child. This camp will be held at the Howell Central Little League at 303 Old Tavern Rd. 

If your child wants to be the next Bobby Flay or Rachael Ray there is also a cooking camp being offered at . This is designed for children between 11 and 15 and has a registration fee of $100. Campers will learn how to do a variety of things including baking bread and hot pretzels, cupcake decorating and how to make their own pizza. 

Classes are held in three sessions and run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The first session runs July 9-12, the second from July 16-19 and the third from July 23-26.

The PAL is also holding its Youth Law Enforcement Academy. More information on that camp can be found .
