Snow Possible For Tuesday Forecast

A look at the forecast for the week ahead.

If there was a day for schools to be closed this week so people could enjoy the weather it is definitely today according to the National Weather Service.

The forecast for today calls for a mostly sunny day with a high near 44 degrees but it will be the last time we likely see temperatures that warm for the foreseeable future. By the time the sun goes down tonight the forecast calls for a low near 22 on a mostly cloudy night.

One big question mark for this week is what a winter weather system will bring our way on Tuesday. The forecast calls for a cloudy day but also a 60 percent chance of snow likely between 1 and 4 p.m. With a high of only 26 expected and winds blowing between 10 and 14 MPH it could be an interesting day in our area.
