This Week in Howell: Hotel Hearing Continues

A quick look at events happening in and around Howell

Howell Patch is starting its first week with a new look but our goal is still to bring you the same tools you have gotten used to as well as a few new ones as the week gets started.

Along with the events listed on our community calendar there are other things happening in and around town as well including graduation for the Freehold Regional High School District including Howell, Freehold Township and Colts Neck on Tuesday.

The Howell Zoning Board will also have a key meeting on Monday night starting at 7:30. An application to build a four story hotel with 109 rooms, a 200 seat restaurant and a 400 seat conference and banquet facility will once again be heard. If approved the hotel would be built at the intersection near Route 9 and Northwoods Place. The Charles Lafitte Foundation will host its10th annual Charity Golf Classic at the Due Process Stable in neighboring Colts Neck. Proceeds from the event benefit the Prevention of Teen Suicide.

The MOMS Club of Howell-West will hold an Open House event at Allaire State Park on Wednesday starting at 10 a.m. The rain date for the event is Thursday.
There will also be a Neighborhood Yard Sale this weekend on Middle Lane, Shady Lane and Sunset Lane. The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Also on Saturday St. Veronica's Parish will hold a Pasta Dinner at 6 p.m. The winner of the Mega 50/50 Cash Raffle will also be drawn at the dinner.

Is your organization holding an event that you would like to see on the calendar? Add it here. That also includes yard sales for the weekend.
