Weekend Snow Starts Cold Forecast This Week

A look at the forecast for the week ahead.

The snow that blanketed our area on Sunday is not likely to be the last precipitation we see this week and may not be the only snow during a cold stretch of days.

Rain is expected to fall until around 2 p.m. with a high of 48 degrees. The high today is the warmest we are expected to see all week before dropping to a low near 32 tonight on a mostly cloudy night.

Depending on where the mercury winds up on Tuesday we could see a mix of rain and snow according to the National Weather Service. Any rain or snow is expected to fall after 10 a.m. on a day with a high near 37 degrees. The forecast calls for less than one tenth of an inch of accumulation if any.
