Wet Weather Predicted to Start the Week

Rain, snow and sleet all possible

After a warm start to January this week our area will see much more seasonable weather that will also bring a fair share of precipitation.

The National Weather Service is predicting we could see anything from rain to freezing rain to snow between today and Wednesday night.

Clouds from Sunday will give way to rain today and into tonight with a high near 58 before plummeting to a low of 34 at night. The high temperature for Tuesday is only expected to rise to around 41 during the day with a chance of rain and sleet before noon.

Tuesday night could bring a mix of rain and snow with a low near 34. The total precipitation for Tuesday night is supposed to be less than a tenth of an inch as of Sunday evening.

More wintery mix is expected for Wednesday during the early part of the day with very little precipitation expected. The high for Wednesday is expected to be in the mid 40's before dropping down to close to 32 at night.

Thursday looks to be warmer and mostly clear with a high of 45 and a low of 28 at night. Next weekend also looks to be clear and cool with highs close to 40 and lows close to 30 through Sunday.
