With All the Snow, How Are JCP&L, Atlantic Electric, PSE&G Doing?

The winter of 2014 is sure to end up in the history books as one of the worst on record and New Jersey's utility companies have been hit almost as hard as the roads throughout the Garden State.

Snow sits atop power lines following a recent winter storm. With each approaching storm, the state’s utility companies take steps to make sure they’re prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws at us.

I believe that they will be doing just fine after we get a rate increase to cover all the overtime an equipment costs.

Rate reductions are coming, I have had no problems, just one short outage during the storm prior to the last

Reductions? Haaa. We are on the upswing of commodity rates. Large scale purchases are and will be resulting in higher supply rates. Wait til June when JCPL releases the rte schedule for the upcoming 6 and 12 months.
