ALDI To Hold Hiring Event in Howell

ALDI is holding hiring events to fill four dozen positions in grocery stores located in Hazlet, Howell and Long Branch, as well as stores in Middlesex and Union counties.

Company representatives will meet job seekers in Howell, Woodbridge and Neptune between Oct. 28-30. 

According to job descriptions posted on the Aldi.com website, cashier positions (20-40 hours a week) are being offered at $11.25 an hour. Shift manager positions are advertised at $12 an hour plus a $4 an hour premium. Manager trainee positions are paid at $25 an hour.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old; have their high school diploma or GED; be able to work anytime between the hours of 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.; be able to lift 45 pounds and submit to a drug screening and background check. 

Applicants with management experience are preferred for manager trainee positions, according to an Aldi press release. Also, health insurance, dental coverage and 401K options are available to part-time ALDI employees working over 20 hours a week

HOWELL, 6679 US Hwy 9

Cashiers, shift managers positions available. Hiring event is Monday, October 28, 3:00-8 p.m.

WOODBRIDGE, 450 King Georges Post Road

For positions in Monmouth, Middlesex and Union counties. Shift managers, management trainee positions available. Hiring event is Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 4-7 p.m.

NEPTUNE, 15 Highway 35 N

Cashiers and shift managers. Hiring event is Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 3-7 p.m.
