Frontier Airlines Adds More Non-Stop Routes to Trenton-Mercer Airport

Frontier will now also fly non-stop to Atlanta, Chicago-Midway, Columbus, Detroit, and Raleigh/Durham.

Frontier Airlines announced this week it will expand its low-fare service at Trenton-Mercer Airport with the addition of five nonstop destinations launching in April.

Frontier will now provide customers with convenient, low-fare service to Atlanta, Chicago-Midway, Columbus, Detroit, and Raleigh/Durham. This is in addition to Frontier’s previously announced nonstop service to Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, and New Orleans.

“This is a great day for us at Frontier as we bring significantly more low-fare options to the Princeton/Trenton area, providing a time and money saving option to customers throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “Customers who fly from Trenton-Mercer Airport can enjoy an airport with fewer hassles and convenient parking, skip the congested and expensive Newark and Philadelphia airports, and they’ll also earn triple EarlyReturns® miles through May.”

“I’m thrilled that Frontier is continuing to expand its nonstop service to and from Trenton-Mercer Airport. With 10 destinations to different parts of the country, Frontier offers people in and around Mercer County convenient and affordable travel opportunities that they’ve never had before. This is an exciting time for TTN and for our region,” said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes.

Low introductory fares are available through Jan. 23, 2013 only at FlyFrontier.com/Trenton.

New markets:

  • Columbus – fares as low as $29 each way
  • Detroit – fares as low as $29 each way
  • Raleigh/Durham – fares as low as $29 each way
  • Atlanta – fares as low as $49 each way
  • Chicago-Midway – fares as low as $49 each way

All Frontier flights from Princeton/Trenton will operate on 138-seat Airbus A319 aircraft – featuring 30 channels of DIRECTV service available at every seat. Additionally, these flights will offer five rows of comfortable stretch seating with an additional five to seven inches of legroom.
