Howell Chamber Sets Annual Awards Dinner Slate

Event to be held at Eagle Oaks Country Club.

The Howell Chamber of Commerce will continue a long standing tradition next month with the 33rd Annual Awards Dinner.

Held this year at the Eagle Oaks Country Club in Farmingdale the dinner will once again honor local residents and business people for their contributions to the community.

Local lawyer and former municipal judge Allen Kaplan will be recognized as Citizen of the Year while John Blewett Inc. will receive the Business of the Year award.

The Howell PAL will be this year’s recipient of the Service Organization of the Year Award while Fred Bauer has been named Volunteer of the year. Ann Eby will receive the Years of Service Award while former Zoning Board Chairman and current Board of Education member John Van Noy will be honored with the lifetime achievement award.

The event is scheduled for Friday October 25 and tickets are $90 per person and include a cocktail hour, presentations, dancing, entertainment and a silent auction. This year’s dinner is sponsored by Amboy Bank, CentraState Healthcare Systems, Cores & Nachlinger Family Law, Danskin Insurance Agency, FSD Enterprises and Lomurro, Davison, Eastman and Munoz Law Firm.
